Pat Simpson

Ms. Pat Simpson is marketing communications director for Parents as Teachers National Center, an international parent education organization based in St. Louis, Missouri, where she works to increase awareness for and spread the word about the benefits of parent education. Her goal is to expand the reach of early childhood messages to effectively communicate with today’s parents, specifically by integrating conventional media with new technology like MomboTV. In her marketing role, she also bridges the gap between parents and early childhood professionals who tap Parents as Teachers National Center for continuing education.

In addition to her professional background, Pat draws upon her own experiences as a communications professional and mother of two grown children to create compelling and engaging messages about child development, parenting and the issues that impact families all over the world. With her conversational style, she engages parents in the discussion of what it means to be their child’s first teacher and how all parents can use a parenting guide and community to support them on their journey.

She holds a degree from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
