Farah Shafi Kamal
Farah Kamal is currently leading the iEARN programs in Society for International Education (www.iearnpk.org). She has a Master of Education degree at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, in Language and Literacy Education. She has over 21 years of experience in teaching, teacher training and school management. She has been involved in ICT projects and programs since 1998 and presented ICT based trainings programs and workshops in China, Egypt, UAE, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Oman, Lebanon, Netherlands, United States and throughout Pakistan.
Farah has initiated several ICT programs in Pakistan which has provided a meaningful use of internet and telecommunications technologies to K-12 students and schools. Farah is also working on programs as well as creating opportunities for High school students and teachers to participate in study and training opportunities outside Pakistan, specifically the United States of America.
Farah is settled in Karachi with her very supportive husband and a lovely 12 year old daughter, the family loves traveling and connecting with people around the world and cultures. Their home in Karachi is always open for friends and colleagues traveling from different parts of the world.
